I was driving home from work earlier and saw a hat in the middle of the road, much like this one. There wasn’t room to swerve, so I ran over it. I knew I wouldn’t clear it. I heard it hit the undercarriage of my car and I never saw it again.
But seriously...I drove home that exact route again 4 hours later, and it’s not there. I probably ought to check in the morning and make sure it isn’t stuck.

As long as you don’t find bits of a flannel shirt and a bolo tie in your undercarriage, you should be fine.

Hopefully there wasn’t a tiny man under there

Hmm...that would explain the mariachi music I kept hearing on the drive home...

C’mon, Harold. That hat might belong to DAN. ARNEST.

It’s okay to admit that you did not like that hat.

that was my little brother’s favorite book as a toddler! I mean, you can't go wrong with dogs and cars.

I'm going to be seriously excited if it's stuck! Best I've done so far was a solo cup that got stuck for about 4 blocks until I dropped it in a pothole.

Used hat or certified pre-owned?

In this neighborhood? Definitely not CPO. Think more “ran when parked.”

Probably muted.

A plastic bag flew up and melted onto the drive shaft once, smelled awful.

I think you may have run over the ghost of Stevie Ray Vaughn.

God, I love that book. I lost track of how many times I read it to my boys. Now I need to get it out and read it again. “Go around again!!”
